The rock vibrates all the way through and vibration is a very elementary form of consciousness after all consciousness is complicated vibrations. So that you get a spectrum of consciousness in which shall we say at the red end of the spectrum where we have a terrific hot activity going on that's the human mind. But it's all in one world you don't have to have a world in which mind is divided from body. You just have a world which is all one sort of continuum but it's a spectrum where you've got what you might call a gross end and a subtle end when you must be careful of using a word like gross unless you're using it in German.
