The Case of Curtis Cores

Curtis Coors was arrested with 128 catalytic converters in his truck bed. He told police he bought the units legally from carlots and muffler shops. Police had been rounding up cutters, street level thieves who do the dirty work of separating catalytic converter from vehicles. Curtis would take a prosecutor's deal on the drug possession and gun charges for deferred prison time.
