The Relevance of Theory to Practical Problems
Despite their Greek background, they didn't really know the idea of you becoming a philosopher. And lucky for me, there were some mentors that helped me to see that this was a viable option. My most enduring philosophical interest is an inquiry concerning rationality and irrationality. Although my work is very theoretical, several of my publications focus on illustrating the relevance of theoretical models to practical problems.
