The movie is basically her biting the hand that feeds her, of everyone in her family. She could have any of these things, and it's not as though there's a deep irony in that what she's doing for living is no less prostitution than what she's accusing all these other people. And i think it captures, too, an interesting moment in, you know, feminism, and feminist film making were ind of pushing back on that,. where the girl boss is no longer aspirational.
