Writing a People's Tragedy
You've both had an academic career and written books for a bit of a wide general readership how's it been kind of walking the boundary between those two worlds. There's always been that slightly snobby academic view of books that manage to reach a wider audience because they must be less than rigorous in their scholarship, you know. I got myself into deep shit in 2010 when I was outed for writing someone was book reviews on Amazon and I made a complete cock up of it but I think the ad I got probably deservedly badly punished and penalized for the rest of my academic career by academics.
