Tropical Storms and Hurricanes in South Florida

When a hurricane's around or a tropical storm and it's not hitting you, the weather is actually really pleasant. This is pretty much the only time that you have any kind of surfable waves in South Florida. Hurricane Andrew hit South Florida as a category five storm in 1992 when your humble host was only nine years old.
