The Death of Cleopatra

There seems to be a consensus that she was poisoned, at least. We don't know how the poison got into her. There are all these different stories of one version that it came in in a hollow hairpin. All right. She had this poison with her anyway in this hollow hair pin. Yeah. Strabo, who's a geographer. In Book 17 of his geography mentions poisoned ointment. Right, it's always poison, but a lot of doubt about how she got that poison in. And I guess that she maybe did this out of pride. Doesn't want to be a captive, can't see a way forward as a queen.
