Do We Have a One China Policy?
We have taken a one china policy as far as the last 50, 60 years. And so i think what has happened with speaker polosi's trip is she has raised very high expectations in tiwan, very high anxieties in chinese. I believe that how we deal with the twan is a very big, bright red line as far as they are concerned. If she should go to ti wan, i think they will find a way to respond in their own fashion that will inflict some harm upon us. Decision to make military as apparently indicated, i's a rather dangerous time for us in the region.
