Homeschool History

CHAPTER

Chin Chi Hwang Di Da

In 19 74, the yang family tried to dig a well in northwestern china. They accidentally uncovered terracotta pottery and some bronze arrow heads. Archaeologists turned up to find out what was going on. And they discovered an underground complex around 38 square miles size. That's a hundred million square metres, or roughly 14 thousand football pitches. It was guarded by an army of two thousand warriors, with maybe another six thousand warriors still waiting to be dug up. The soldiers were there to protect the burial tomb of chin shi hang de. So what kind of chap needs a massive pottery army for the after life? Chin shi hwang de was not his birthname.
