Dallis Willard, who most people don't know this was an absolute charismatic. He has a whole chapter where he writes Jesus will walk up to you in prayer and talk to you. And so that's what I love about the contemplative charismatic. If on one end of the charismatic tradition, you have just all extroverted noise and activity with no manifest present. Some would say full on you mature past, asking God for things. It's just breathing and detachment and awareness and surrender.
