Coaching - Adaptive Versus Directive?

Josh: I have been on kind of my own journey with this spectrum over the past few years. It started from some initial training I had on coaching and flow through discussion with Jim night in episode 53, I think it was or 52 of the podcast. And so a good coach will always be responsive and having these abstract debates is often just really counterintuitive. So that's something for listeners to think about and listen to themselves as well but my key point there was that debates in the abstract are often not as helpful as looking at concrete examples.
