In the early 1900s, Germany was the first country to institute DST as part of the war effort. By World War II, a whole bunch of other countries had joined suit and we now have daylight saving time. But it's not just DST that's fluctuated; our conception of time has also changed. Marco Rubio is trying to get Daylight Saving Time extended for 12 months.
