i wanted to share one of my favorite literary quotes about sickness that i've been quoting for feels like my entire adult life. It's from a letter robert frost wrote to the poet lewis undermeyer in 19 16, talking about what a poem actually is. And he states, a poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a love sickness. A complete poem is one where an emotion finds the thought, and the thought finds the word.
