The Separation of Art From the Artist

I think that the idea that everybody is everything is unrealistic. The most talented creative people have stuff that they're dealing with that allows their creativity to come. We all have some degree of all aspects of everything. Some of us have more of some parts and less of other parts. But people tend to be people. And the people that we think of as the great artists are just as unhappy and troubled as everybody else. They make the same mistakes and are wrong about the same things that all of us could make.
