The Law of the Hebrew Word Tora

About 200 years before jesus, there was a community of large jewish community living in alexandria, egypt. And that's where the first translation of the bible was ever made into greek. It was the hebrew bible being taset septug, called the septugena. The translation of the word tora into greek as the greek word namass, law. So thats just kind of passed into greek and then latin and english throughout the years. Why did they choose it namas? Yes, that's, that's a great question. Im namas was just one of the standard greek words for principles.
