Is Jira a Good Tool for Managing Projects?

As a leader, you have to have the visibility into that. And one of the things that I've always done is regardless of whether or not I'm doing internal reporting, I use dev tools like Jira to track work items and progress. So first off, teach my team that like, great, you have a request from this person. How long is it going to take? Right. Well, boss based on all of the process that you've developed and all these checks and balances I have to do plus all this new data, like this is how long it's going to take me. Great.
