Reparations would be a massive subsidy to people that are highly sub-consciously aware of what they're doing. If you really imagine that we put a substantial amount of money behind a reparations programme, and it was monetary, like you got a really meaningfully sized check with slavery in the memo line, basically, i guess there's the naive view of this,. And maybe the cynical version of this. Admits he doesn't necessarily have to be consciously cynical in order to make his point.
