Family Man: A Meditation on Ambition and Love
For us, Family Man was always sort of a meditation on the tension between ambition and love. It's set up in the very first scene in the movie. She is making a dramatic argument. And what it takes to get him to accept that argument takes two hours. So you can say, oh, no, and then he wakes up in this life and he's not driving this car is driving that car. And he goes bowling. That's the story of the movie.
