Wages Should Go Up - It's a Good Thing
Wages need to go up because that isn't where inflation is coming from. And by putting wages up, you're going to do something which is going to seem terribly offensive to at least a few people but may well find that profits start to come down. That's actually going to be a good thing if it's Shell and BP or some giant, angry business or any other of the massively profitable corporations. If those profits are coming down and wages and incomes, pensions, benefits, everything else is going up, this is a good way to start to resolve the cost of living crisis. But we're also going to think, have to do something that gets beyond just saying, wages should go
