I Think That Philosophy Can Offer a Lot to Activism

I think that philosophy can offer a lot to activism. I think it can raise normative questions about how we should and might live together more justly. But I also think that activists have a much better sense of the situatedness of knowledge about how actually to intervene in unjust systems. Changing belief isn't always the best way to change a practice. And I think activists are very well aware of that.
