How to Rest in a Pool
The majority of pools in the UK are indoor and often people learn how to swim here through school. When I was at school, we would go to the local public pool and they're not fancy. The water is heavily chlorinated so there's a lot of chlorine being used to clean the water. But when the water is cleaned with UV filters, it doesn't have that awful chemical smell or irritation to your skin. In most pools, there are segregated changing rooms. And then there will always be some form of locker area just by the changing rooms.
