It's hard to see, but it hasn't even reached the standard of Chesterton's fence yet. I could easily see the Supreme Court accepting it and saying, guys, we said reasonable law abiding. This is a strange case. And one of the problems has been what is the motive for killing your wife and son? The prosecution this week is introducing evidence that he thought if he was a grieving spouse and father, people wouldn't come after him for his financial crimes. If that really is the motive, that is crazy.
