Introduction

Vanato is an island chain about a thousand miles east of the australian coast in the south pacific. It used to be known back in the colonial days asa new hebrides islands, named after an island chain off the coast of scotland. We're headed off the coast, off the edge of it, under water, to visit a very strange place from a very strange episode at the end of world war two - million dollar point.
