Is That a Dummy Shoot?
One of the parachutes was a dummy shoot, marked with an X and sewn up so it wouldn't be deployable. It's just a training shoot to kind of train classes with on a tabletop. So when they use it in training, it's easier for him to go and collect it and pack it back away rather than use one that's fully deployable. That would be a lot messier to deal with.
