As someone tho has zero children, i think the thing that seems the hardest about having a ten ager is so much of their understanding is so advanced, but they're not done developing yet. Their brain will keep changing well into their twenties. So to treat them as full on adults is wrong. That's why we don't date teen agers unless we are morally corrupt. And it is also why when tnagers get accused of crimes, it's a different thing. Your brain is not really able to to em make the same decisions and understand consequences in the same way that an adult's brain is. The fuckus.
