The Importance of Subjective History in Slap Pathology
The National Athletic Trainers Association position statement on slaps gives a lovely summary of the things that I've shared with you tonight. A massive limitation is all those things are dependent on an unstable long head of biceps attachment so essentially our type two lesions and some of our type four in things like bucket handle tears actually our testing is much less consistent. As ever that subjective history is key it's 80 percent of our decision making but these clinical tests are only ever a tiny tiny part now what about this guy's MR scan because remember I said that you'd had a plain MR plain MR is notorious for false negatives in patients with slap pathology and an MRR for gram is far more reliable
