The Curse of Fiction
If every book in the world burned today, I'd still be sitting in this chair. Even if the world is not a globe, I could care less because there's more important things to discuss. You get to define the words that you're using to mean what you say they mean. And nobody gets to find them for you. Spinoza like made his own glossary of terms. It's freaking heady. But also was one of my favorites. The biggest part is to get people to deny this evidence of their own senses and the experience of their own actual their own actual life and reality for narrative.
