The First Interstellar Object

We didn't see this until it was already on its way out of the solar system. We were only able to sort of a back track its path after the fact, after we had seen it reflected in the sunlight. So did they ever find out for sure thatm was a comet or asteroid? We still don't know what it was or is. There are likely to be many more of these.
