We don't actually know why it's so good at what it does and why it's doing stuff. It maxes out every creativity test we give, and every human creativity test. And basically we've created a model of a brain without meaning to do that. We don't really know the answer, but it's not it's clearly not sentient in the way that I think people are worrying about being sentient.
