Tech people have a lot invested in thinking that the AI revolution means everything, right? Because that's their world. I had this friend who has been talking about singularity for like decades. So he's saying like, oh, well, AI is going to just engage in this like search for computational power. And, you know, first they're gonna like do this and this and then they'll have to reach out to the stars to get more computational power. To me it sort of sounds like, I don't know, somebody's still gonna have to keep the air conditioners running.
