The Four Rules of Algebra

Group theory is an area of algebra that I've done the most work on. There are essentially four rules that define whatever a group is now these four rules are presented to you in your first abstract algebra class as if handed down by the gods on tablets of stone. Unlike most non-fiction books it doesn't have a goal or an aim it's not trying to make you live longer or make you write a better resume it's just pure play, which is very unusual.
