Infinite Universe or Multiverse?

The concept of infinity is something that i find comforting, but also massively depressing. If we are in an observable fraction of the universe, and that fraction is one over infinity, maths says that it's nothing. So what about the answer to the multi verse issue? Could you prove that there are a lot of universes out there? Well, the first step might be to model this. You could imagine a process creating lots of universes. The best process we know of for this is something called inflation. And sometimes those universes will actually collide. Sof if we're careful, we might go to get our universes to collide.
