The Power of Trusting the Gold

I call it spiritual re-parenting because if you're seen but not loved obviously that doesn't work. When a very young child is seen and loved when they have the attentiveness and the responsiveness that allows for basic trust that gives them a sense of belonging. Most of us had at best imperfect parenting and whether it was our parents are the society which with all of its hierarchies and messages of inferiority and badness we grow up not trusting that love ability. I've found for myself it's almost my go-to mantra now that when I'm really stuck or tangled when I'm having a hard time usually built into it there's some sense that I'm falling short.
