Peace Not Always Ripping High

Peace not necessarily always ripping high, says the Dalai Lama. The nature of reality is there's going to be suffering and we can't get into a state of equanimity by doing spiritual work while being scratched to death in front of three-year-old. And i think that's where our religious upbringing gets transferred into this spiritual life. It's like taking you further from equanimity, because you're now you have the shame and the judgment that I must not be doing it right.
