What I Learned From Milton Glacier
Elaine: I noticed that your family is from Russia, and this is the same as on my mom's side. My grandmother was an artist, she was a painter and she attended the Art Students League in New York. So there's a lot of that embedded in me as well. She asked if her grandparents had any influence onyour creativity or your career. Elaine: Probably one of the biggest influences on my sense of self was my maternal grandmother who gave me a strong sense of being loved. And when you have that kind of early childhood experience, it really does help develop that ability to communicate.
