The Heritability of Genetic Variation

Heritability is supposed to measure the variance in something how much does this thing vary because of environment versus because of genes so if earrings wearing earrings are not varies entirely on the basis of whether you're a man or a woman then that is entirely a genetic variation. By and large it's environmental basically like whether you're going to have more or fewer well not more but like a full set of 10 fingers or fewer fingers than that heritability is actually greater in adults than in children This is a weird finding and it's about 80% in adults and 20% in children so you kind of grow into your biological intelligence or something it doesn't really make sense to me I don't know how
