I think our inability to forgive those around us, and most importantly, to forgive ourselves is often a a fear that we've created a moral hazard. The anger is often a way of saying, i will hold this person accountable. I'm not sure most of us have a way to go, either with ourselves or with others. A thought about trying to write about it some time. But houve any thoughts on that?
Philosopher Agnes Callard of the University of Chicago talks with EconTalk host Russ Roberts about anger. Is anger something we should vilify and strive to eradicate in ourselves? Or should we accept it as a necessary and appropriate human emotion? Callard takes a fresh look at anger and has much to say about jealousy, desire, and forgiveness as well.
