Did the Living Need to Resurrect in the West?
The Egyptians believed that the living could do anything to assist the departed. Did they leave them offerings, or how did that work? Yeah, it was almost necessary to help the deceased till he resurrected. For example, for the very wealthy, they would have a little chapel near their tomb where the family could come and make offerings twice a day.
