i would have, back then, probably thought that it was crazy to not do that. And now one of my close friends named their daughters lastn named her daughter,. Their daughters last name is a portmanteau of him and his wife's last names. i'm like, oh, these are two people like, pretty much were not following anybody's script and decided that this was the thing that felt the most right to them.
