The Court of Appeal Judgment on Domestic Abuse
Ause i gather it's very much a go to case on private law or family hearings. And so this case was a conjoined appeals that were listed before the president in the court of appeal, and all of which involved allegations of domestic abuse. So it was really an opportunity for the court of eal to deliver effectively guidance as to how courts should be treating allegations of domestic Abuse. In particular, what came out very clearly is that practice direction 12 j is fit for purpose. It is sufficient.
