The Waiting for My Butterflies to Come Out
I had a very long and anxious wait for them to all emerge. And when I did disturb them, I tried to hush them and reassure them that they were safe. There was one caterpillar that was really slow to cocoon himself. He was the one that was bullied the most by the other caterpillars. They didn't tend to let him down to where the food was very often. But he finally turned into a chrysalid. Then one morning, a few days ago, two of my butterflies had emerged overnight - leaving a shell behind.
