The Strange Way Dark Energy Works

The weird thing about dark energy is that it seems to react the opposite way to changes in volume. So this means that as the universe gets bigger and the dark energy can fill up more space, the pressure it exerts increases. You get a feedback loop that the universe is going to expand faster and faster over time because of the very weird way dark energy works.
