How to Make a Shoe Talk to Your Kids
A lot of kids on the spectrum are very concrete thinkers. They know that shoes don't talk, and they'll say, mummy, the shoe doesn't talk. A speaker at our happy mamma retreat one year said, talk to the peas. And in this case, i would make the shoe talk like, i feel so empty and cold, i need a funny on n you know, a lot of little kids cannot resist a talking shoe,. ye but because we're talking to your particular audience, i want to mention that there are a lot of kids with autism who can't stand being told no.
