The Scottish Gender Recognition Reform Bill
Scotland introduced self-ID a bill called the gender recognition reform bill before Christmas. They did it to make it very hard for people to protest because that's a very busy week for middle aged women and we're the people who are leading this protest. And they've done it by amending a part of a national bill, the UK ride bill, in ways that cause problems for the whole of the UKBecause it's very inconsistent and incoherent. I'd really rather we didn't introduce them in the first place. You let this go and it's 20 years to get rid of it again. So you have to take the chance to stop things before they start.
