Is It Legal to Genetically Edit an Embryo?
The problem that we're trying to solve at the company and in my research group is much simpler, because we're not doing editing. So we're happy if we can just predict risk, not, you know, i'm happy to use a variant that i'm measuring, which is correlated with the actual causal variant. That's a much harder problem, and could involve laboratory, like i said, like genetical engineered mice, a mesmodel systems, a stuffe with monkeys or maybe even machine learning type work on significantly larger data sets. But i have to say, this is an active ary of research.
