In the liturgy we get a glimpse of how people are meant to relate to one another. The liberal political order on my view is premised on what John Milbank would have called a primordial violence. We're invited to participate in that, which means that we have to cultivate a very different mindset. In terms of some of our practical decision-making, I think we ought to prioritize and look to ways that we can support our fellow Christians.
