The Sacrament and Sacrifice in Relation to Charity
The Eucharist is meant to not accommodate our weakness or make excuses for it, but authentically heal and elevate what we actually are. It's a concept which runs deeper within our anthropology than anything imposed by the Christian religion. So when we're receiving grace from the Eucharist, which we do that stirs up the life of charity, we're really talking about it as a sacrament. That is an incarnational sign, which is the means by which God is choosing to cause and stir up,. if you will, the life of sanctifying grace within us.
