The Kidnapping of Patty

Tanya Bauler was kidnapped from her home in California by the Symbianese Liberation Army. She becomes iconic only after she gets kidnapped because then there's no real previous image of her for what happened to contradict. "She looks like Faye Dunaway and Bonnie and Clyde in those images," says director Judd Apatow.
