The Role of the Body in Intelligence
A lot of psychologists think about intelligence as not being confined to the brain, but really being an interaction between the brain and the body. The idea here is that it may not be possible to create ai of the kind that we've been talking about in a disembodied machine. We 're going to have antonio domasio on, i think, in august, and heis one of the leading researchers in the field. I'd be interested they woneder they claim that they're doing it, or do they claim it's not important?
