The Importance of Optimizing the Ground Leg Technique

The brain will shift some power production down to the calf if one leg is producing less horizontal power and a bit more vertical than the other. We've just published a study where we found exactly that in soccer players. So it wasn't the force asymmetry that was causing the problem. It was really a kinetic or a motor pattern asymmetry that just happened to be reflected in the forceymmetry.
